The 4th edition of the Arab Franchise Expo, inaugurated aboard the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) in Dubai, opened with an inspiring address by Khaled Almaeena, Chairman of the Arab Business Media Group. Speaking to a global gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, and franchise leaders, Almaeena declared that the Expo has “opened new doors for homegrown brands to rise onto the global stage,” reinforcing the growing international confidence in Arab-born franchise concepts and their potential for global expansion.

Almaeena praised the exceptional diversity of this year’s event, noting that over 150 brands from 30 countries are showcasing their concepts in Dubai. He highlighted how such strong global participation reflects the Middle East’s emergence as a leading hub for franchising and cross-border business development. He emphasised that with continued support, innovation, and exposure, more UAE and GCC-born brands can evolve into global players within the international franchise community.
